Comics And Office Supplies
After the comics, don't forget to stop by OfficeMax for office suppliesI went in a bit early to pick up my last Santa check from Macy’s, run into Midtown Comics, deposit said check at the bank, stop by Staples to pick up, what else, office supplies and then to Borders to return a few things I got for Christmas.

We Have Power
Might want to have some kind of back up powerPuget Sound Energy has at long last restored power to headquarters. My home office is thankfully warm and cozy again...and there is power to run the computers, telephone, and fax machine, which I'm truly thankful for.

PayPerPost
A former OfficeMax employee now recommending products on PayPerPost.
Yay! So I finally got approved today for my PayPerPost account. I have been waiting about a week for them to verify my account. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working with PPP in my blog. Yes…of course I get paid for my reviews on products…which always helps out, especially during the holidays. But to have the opportunity to write about products and services and reccommend them to my friends is fun. I used to work at OfficeMax and ALWAYS went out of my way to reccommend products (even if we didn’t sell them and the competetors did!).

The Green Exchange
A look at Green BuildingThis is the first project I’ve come across that’s exclusively pursuing green commercial tenants. The concept of a small office building that contains a community of sustainably-driven tenants is intriguing. Of course, the final piece of the puzzle for an owner interested in the idea is what kind of premium it might expect to receive from such tenants. The article discloses very little about those that Baum has already signed up- not even how many square feet of space they’ve leased- so my thoughts here are mere speculation.

Thanksgiving Office
Moving the office into the kitchen nook for Thanksgiving.
Once most of the main items were moved back Bonnie helped me unhook the temporary office we’d set up in the kitchen nook so it could be placed back in the living room. The computer with all those wires and cables was taken down and then William and I moved the desk and book shelf, the fax machine and put everything back together in the living room. For some reason each time we hook the wireless modem up I have to show the computer the Lan Driver Disk or it refuses to acknowledge we have one; not a big deal and I had it ready as soon as the power came on. The speakers came to life and “Wa-ha” ( my only John Wayne impersonation; be glad for that, Pilgim. ) everything was working. I get a much better signal on the wireless since it’s directly below Bonnie’s bedroom; a good reason not to leave the office in the kitchen nook.
